I tried installing GB (alone) off it but it fails with no reason given. Any thoughts on where I might be able to get it? Just realised my original software reinstall drive (or the one that came with the laptop anyway - factory slim white apple 8gb stick) says on it 'Mac OSX v10.6, iLife '11'. It doesn't appear to be on the Apple support pages anymore. I bought a new Mac and I wanted to put the old (6.0.5) version of GarageBand on the machine (I need it for podcast recording).
